’Such a mysterious heartbreaking disease. My mom used to work at a nursing home when I was little, and I often came there after school to hang out with the old people. My favorite person there was this sweet woman named Etta who had Alzheimers and was no longer able to speak. She always wore her hair in this cute little bun, had the warmest smile and laugh, and I’d sit in the chair and talk with her as she held my hand and patted it, mumbling non-words back to me. ’My kitty is 16 years old now. I adopted him from a similar adoption center that had a room full of cats/kittens for you to pick from. He did something similar to the pic is why its relevant to this. Anyway, when I walked in he almost immediately meowed a few times, ran up, and jumped up my leg in a pose like the cat in the pic & started clawing his way up my jeans. I lifted him up to my chest & he started purring like a motor & has been my best and most loving companion ever since that day. til i found this unicorn hiding one day -

’Nah just a little hoggie. Even if it bit you their toad popping teeth are way in the back so they kind of have to chew on you and the venom is extremely mild. Think wasp sting, although their venom is really similar to apitoxin so if you are alergic to bees not a great snake for you. They can also be kind of picky eaters since their food in the wild is mostly toads, no responsible breeder would sell one that isn't already well established on frozen thawed rodents though so as long as you aren't catching one in the wild it shouldn't be a problem.’

the only ones harmful are way in the back,
(n they're only used for a 'toad-poppin' snack)
but other than that, well, my venom is 'mild'
n usually saved to zap food in the wild

(i don't think that you'll ever see them on 'aww'...)
